Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Aquila Labs LLC ("Wair", "we", "us", or "our"), operating from Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website wair.llc ("the Site") or use the Wair mobile application ("the App"). By using the Site or the App, you agree to the practices described below.

Who we are

  • Company: Aquila Labs LLC
  • Address: Sheridan, WY 82801, USA
  • Contact: support@wair.llc

Wair is a personal wardrobe stylist mobile application that digitizes your wardrobe and generates personalized style recommendations. The Site is the marketing and information surface for the App.

Information we collect

From the Site (wair.llc)

  • Contact form submissions — name, email address, message body. Used only to respond to your inquiry.
  • Anonymous analytics — page views, language preference cookie (NEXT_LOCALE), referrer source. We do not use third-party tracking cookies on the Site at this time.

From the App (Wair mobile)

  • Account data — email address, hashed password (we never see your plaintext password). Optional sign-in with third-party providers if you choose.
  • Profile data — name, email, date of birth, and your size and style preferences.
  • Wardrobe & photo data — photographs of clothing items you upload from your camera or photo library, automatically generated metadata (categories, colors, styles), your outfits, weekly plans, and wear history. These photos are used to digitize your wardrobe and generate style recommendations.
  • Location data — only the city or region you choose, used to suggest weather-appropriate outfits. We do not perform continuous or precise GPS tracking.
  • Device & diagnostic data — device model, operating system version, app version, and crash reports.
  • Usage data — in-app interactions and feature usage, which may be aggregated and anonymized.
  • Product links you share — links to clothing items that you paste into the App or share with it. We use them only to import that item into your wardrobe.
  • Advertising and attribution data — on Android, your Google Advertising ID and the Play Install Referrer, used to attribute your installation of the App to an advertising campaign. On iOS we do not collect the IDFA and we do not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission. See Advertising attribution and measurement below.

How your photos are processed

Your wardrobe photos are processed by our service providers Anthropic and Google solely to generate your style recommendations. Under our paid API agreements, these providers do not use your content to train their models.

We also use Replicate to prepare your wardrobe photos for display: when you add an item, the photograph is sent to Replicate so that its background can be removed, and the cut-out image is returned to us. Replicate's handling of that photograph is governed by the terms it publishes at https://replicate.com/terms.

Your photos are not shared for any other purpose, and we do not sell them.

Virtual Try-On and your photo

Wair's try-on feature can show outfits either on fictional, computer-generated models or on a photo of you that you choose to upload. The photo is optional and the feature works fully without it.

If you upload a photo of yourself:

  • Storage. Your photo is stored privately, linked to your account, on our image storage (Cloudflare R2), exactly as you uploaded it. Nothing is saved until you have seen the preview and approved it.
  • Processing. To generate try-on images, your photo is processed by Google Cloud (Vertex AI) on servers located in the United States. Google acts as our data processor (subprocessor) for this step. Under Google Cloud's terms, Google does not use your photo or the generated images to train its models, and processes them only to provide the requested result, with limited transient retention for abuse monitoring under its terms.
  • Appearance details. With your consent, we derive basic appearance attributes from your photo (such as hair color and skin tone) once, at the time you save it, and use them only to personalize outfit suggestions and styling notes. These attributes are deleted when your photo is deleted.
  • Consent. Before your photo is first saved, we ask for your explicit consent in the app. We record the time and the version of the consent text you accepted. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your photo in the app; withdrawal is also recorded.
  • Deletion. You can delete your photo at any time in the app. Deleting your photo also deletes the derived appearance attributes. Deleting your account deletes your photo and all try-on images generated for you.
  • Generated images. Try-on images we generate for you are stored with your account and deleted when your account is deleted.

We never use your photo for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to identify you.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the App
  • Respond to contact form messages
  • Generate personalized outfit and style recommendations
  • Send you notifications you have enabled
  • Manage subscriptions and process payments
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Advertising attribution and measurement

We advertise the App on third-party platforms. To understand which campaign brought a user to Wair — and nothing beyond that — we work with AppsFlyer, a mobile measurement partner. We do not embed advertising-network SDKs in the App: there is no Meta, Google Ads, TikTok or Pinterest SDK inside Wair.

  • On iOS: measurement is done exclusively through Apple's SKAdNetwork framework. We do not request App Tracking Transparency permission and we do not collect the IDFA. SKAdNetwork reports are anonymous and campaign-level; they cannot identify an individual user or device.
  • On Android: the App collects your Google Advertising ID and the Play Install Referrer and shares them with AppsFlyer in order to attribute your installation to a campaign. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads), and we honour that choice.
  • Subscription events: when a free trial starts or a subscription is purchased, our subscription provider (RevenueCat) reports that event to AppsFlyer from server to server — the event name, the revenue amount and the currency. No card or payment credentials are involved; we never receive them.
  • What advertising partners receive: aggregated campaign performance (installs, trials and subscriptions per campaign). On Android this includes the Advertising ID as the match key; on iOS it is anonymous SKAdNetwork data.
  • Processor and retention: AppsFlyer acts as our processor. Attribution data is retained under our agreement with AppsFlyer; where a record can be linked to your account, it is deleted when your account is deleted. AppsFlyer publishes its own privacy terms at https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/services-privacy-policy/
  • Opting out: on Android, reset or delete your Advertising ID in your system settings. On iOS no tracking takes place, so there is nothing to opt out of.

We do not use this data to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell it.

Service providers

We share limited data with the following service providers. They process this data in order to provide their service to us, under the data-protection and security terms they publish for their own platforms:

  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Cloudflare — storage and delivery of your wardrobe photographs
  • Replicate — cloud image processing (removing the background from your wardrobe photographs)
  • Anthropic and Google — visual analysis of your photos and generation of style recommendations
  • Google Cloud (Vertex AI) — try-on image generation, and backup infrastructure for the visual analysis described above
  • RevenueCat — subscription management
  • AppsFlyer — advertising attribution and measurement (see the section above)
  • Apple App Store and Google Play — payment processing (your card details never reach Wair)
  • Mapbox — city and location search
  • OpenWeather and Apple WeatherKit — weather data used to suggest weather-appropriate outfits for your selected city
  • Sentry — error and crash monitoring
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — push notifications on Android
  • Resend — transactional email delivery

These providers are established outside your country — primarily in the United States — and operate on global infrastructure. If you would like to know where a particular provider is established, email support@wair.llc and we will tell you.

Where your data is stored

Your wardrobe photographs are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. This applies regardless of where you are located — we do not offer, and cannot guarantee, storage in a specific country or region. Your account and wardrobe records are stored on Supabase.

International data transfers

Aquila Labs LLC is established in the United States, and our service providers operate from the United States and other countries, on global infrastructure. This means that wherever you are located, your personal data — including your photographs — is transferred to and processed outside your own country, primarily in the United States.

We want to be clear about the basis for this:

  • We rely on your consent and acknowledgement: by creating an account and using Wair, you agree that your personal data is transferred to and processed in the United States as described here.
  • We do not rely on an adequacy decision, and we do not hold a certification such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Independently of the above, we protect transferred data with encryption in transit (TLS) and encrypted-at-rest storage, and we limit access to it on a least-privilege basis.

You can withdraw from this at any time by deleting your account — see How to delete your account. If you are not comfortable with your data being processed in the United States, please do not use Wair.

Data retention and deletion

  • Contact form messages: the messages you send us through the contact form, and our replies, are kept as a record of our correspondence for as long as we operate the service. They are not deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete your message at any time by emailing support@wair.llc, and we will do so.
  • App account data: retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of your deletion request.
  • Try-on photo, derived appearance attributes and generated try-on images: kept until you delete them or your account. Deleting your photo in the app also deletes the derived appearance attributes; deleting your account deletes your photo and every try-on image generated for you.
  • Attribution data: campaign-attribution records held by AppsFlyer are retained under our agreement with them; where a record can be linked to your account, it is deleted with your account.
  • Anonymous analytics: aggregated and not retained in personally identifiable form.

You can delete your account at any time. When you do, your personal data and photos are permanently deleted; anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained. For step-by-step instructions, see How to delete your account.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR/EEA, UK GDPR, CCPA/California, KVKK/ Türkiye), you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Receive a portable copy of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To access or export your data, contact support@wair.llc. To exercise any other right listed above, email the same address. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact support@wair.llc and we will delete it promptly.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted-at-rest storage, role-based access control, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users if a material breach occurs as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Site and, where applicable, the App. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
